Here is the Mission Statement

Our mission is to engage our multi-cultural society in a positive manner which empowers individuals to collaborate and promote ideas and activities which focus on building an accessible sustainable earth community that honors and preserves people and the environment.

 

It is also posted on the home page right near the top.

Mission Statement? Old news?

I have been all over this site trying to find our mission statement. Where is it? (All I could find was the poll about it.) But it did not include the mission statement??? How does one vote for something that is not stated? I'm confused and lost at this point...
What is it? It should be on the opening page in bold type.
To me, it makes no sense to have old news/info about last year's conference and other events that have already taken place, unless these items are listed under archives.
We need currrent info for the visitors to this site. And use the date and year when promoting events, to lessen confusion.
Somebody please direct me where to look for the mission statement. I need it for an assignment Richard gave me.
