What a Wonderful Dream
 
I see faces of friends
All colors too
Brotherhood works
For me and you
And I think to myself---
What a wonderful DREAM!
 
I see shades of black
Red, brown and white
All holding hands
And clasping so tight
And I think to myself---
What a wonderful DREAM!
 
The colors of God's children
So lovely in His eyes
I see in all the faces
Of those for whom He died
I see friends shaking hands
Saying "How do you do?"
They're really saying,
"You're family too."
 
I hear Martin's voice, saying
"Work toward the Dream---
Keep it alive---
As tough as it seems."
And I think to myself---
What a wonderful DREAM!
Yes---I think to myself---
What a wonderful ---DREAM!"
Yes---Lord!
