The main event begins Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. with registration/check-in.

The opening ceremony will begin at 8:30 am

  • Opening Song - The Negro National Anthem, lead by Yolanda Ray, Gospel Singer
  • Opening Prayer - Pastor Raymond Mabion, Sr.
  • Special Conference Poems - Denise Low, Poet Laureate for the State of Kansas
  • A Wyandot Nation Blessing - Jan English, Chief of the Kansas Wyandotte Nation
  • Greeting from Irene Caballero, Kansas Hispanic and Latino Affairs Commission
  • Official Conference Welcome - TBA
  • Introduction of Speaker - Richard Mabion, Chairman of Conference Planning Committee

After the opening ceremony, David Korten will give his presentation for everyone.

The second half of the morning will consist of break out sessions facilitated using Open Space techniques.

Lunch will be provided for the registered supporters of the conference ($50), and will include a question and answer session with David Korten. General admission attendees will be provided with a list of restaurants close to the Reardon Center.

After Lunch we will have another set Open Space break outs.

At the end of the day, we will gather for the results of the Open Space break outs and a closing ceremony.
